RAD etsy pick o' da week!

This week's pick, Artsy, features radical sculptures made from antique toys and other random bits! They are super colorful, which, of course, I love! And super unique! The artist is Cat Bishop, and her work has been spotlighted in Elle Girl Magazine, and is represented in private collections worldwide, including Malaysia, Australia, Switzerland and the UK! How great is that! She is a role model to me. And, of course since it's made from recycled materials, it's earth conscious! If I had to pick a favorite, I would probably say the Family Reunion collection. This is a must check out! So, go take a look! And pick something up, her prices begin at only $14!!!

etsy pick o' da week!

Ok, so this has become more like the etsy pick o' every other week. I will try harder, I promise! And, as per my last pick, everyone knows I have a fondness for handmade children's toys. So, following in that same vein, I have chosen Star House as my latest fave shop on etsy!

It is owned by Heather, who, according to her profile, sounds like a rad person and artist! She creates wooden characters, as well as amazing wire wall hangings, among other interesting things. Her brilliant imagination is glowingly apparent in her work. I would definitely have to say the Mer Boy is my favorite!! He's adorably ethereal!
